RESEARCH AND DOCUMENTATION

We undertake and facilitate research for learning documentation and development. The improtance of this program is to develop a comprehensive and analytical data of substansive problems that are poising serious threats to oue health and the environment.

WATER AND SANITATION

The problem associated with inadequate WASH have an impact on virtually all aspect of human development disproportionately affecting the life chances of women and girls. We work to expand access to WASH facilities and services.

ENERGY

Energy has a major impact on every aspect of our economic life. Today, more than 3 billion people world wide rely on pollutiong energy sources such as wood, dung and charcoal for cooking. Almost 1 billion rely on kerosane lamps and other polluting devices to light their homes. The health implications of this are terrible. Women inhale thick smoke for hours on end as they prepare meals for their families and tend fires to keep the home warm. Children, the elderly and other vulnerable people also suffer disproportionately. In 2012, more than 60% of all premature death from household air pollution were among women and children

WASTE MANAGEMENT

Waste management, far from being someone else's problem, is the responsibility of all of us. W all make the trash and therefore we should all have the equal responsibilty of disposing of it. Where-ever possible, trash should be recycled and there are ways to ensure the garbage from your home and business is disposed of as economically an eco friendly as posssible. Through project EARN! CFEW is working with community to sort their waste with the aim of earning income.

CLIMATE CHANGE

CFEW work to encourage youth participation in community conservation and build their capacity towards mitigating and adapting to the impact of climate change through various initiatives.

TOXIC CHEMICAL AWARENESS

The production and use of chemicals is growing expecially in the developing world. The Toxic-free campaign was design to help create awareness about the dangers of Toxic chemicals like the persistent organic pollutants (pop), Mercury, plead, etc. Many of these chemical cause birthdefects, cancer, learning/neurological disorder and other human disease.
